“The essence of freedom is the proper limitation of government.” At some point, when government power continues to grow, individual freedom necessarily diminishes. We look forward to the restoration of the American Republic and the country our Founders envisioned. It is vitally important to let our voices be heard!
The Constitution only gives people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself.
Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves are its only safe depositories.
Thomas Jefferson

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

The Constitution only gives people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself.

On The Progressive Tax:
Many say that the progressive income tax punishes the wealthy; In reality it punishes the poor and the middle class by promoting the status quo. Think of a 3 story home; wealthy citizens are on the top floor, middle class citizens are on the 2nd floor and poor citzens are on the 1st floor; however, there are no stairs. Everyone wants to be on the 3rd floor. So the poor and the middle class work hard and earn income (steps) so that they can build a stairway to the next floor. However the government steps in and takes money (steps) away. The more money they make, the more money is (steps are) taken away making it very hard to move up to the next floor. The rich however don't have to buy steps to get to the top floor; they really don't have to generate income to get there; they are already where they want to be; there is not as much incentive to put their wealth at risk and whatever income that is made adds to the wealth that they already have but isn't necessarily needed to trancend the class stairway
